ACLS Provider Course NCH EMPLOYEES ONLY.

The Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course is for those who either direct or participate in the resuscitation of adult patients.  Through the ACLS course, providers will enhance their skills in the treatment of the adult victim of a cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies.

Class Time - 8:00 am-4:00pm

 

 

ACLS Renewal Course NCH EMPLOYEES ONLY.

The Advanced Cardiac Life Support course (ACLS) is for those who either direct or participate in the resuscitation of Adult patients.  Through the ACLS course, providers will enhance their skills in the treatment of the Adult victim of a cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies. This course is for employees that have a current ACLS certification card. 

BLS Renewal NCH EMPLOYEES ONLY

AHA BLS provider renewal course is designed to teach Health Providers how to perform high quality CPR as a team, for adults, infants and children. This course is limited to NCH staff who are REQUIRED to have BLS certification for their work role.

HeartCode PALS

HeartCode PALS Skills Session 

This course is designed for new PALS providers and those who want to renew their current PALS certification. For this class, the participants will complete an online learning course and then complete a skills check-off on a specific day.

If you register with the promo code "IT" it is your responsibility to notify your unit that course payment is due within 30 days. Using "IT" does not automatically bill your department.   Refunds cannot be issued once a course key code has been activated. 

The skills check-off dates are listed below. Classes will be added 2-4 months prior.

* Sessions will now consist of 2-4 students and 1 instructor.   You will receive your link to complete your online content 30 days before your course. You will complete the required competencies in a 45-60 minute session.  Required times for attendance are emailed out 1 week before class.  We do NOT see comments from registration, please email the PALS team with requests.*

 

 

PEARS

The Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS) Provider Course prepares healthcare providers caring for pediatric patients with foundational skills to assess, recognize, and participate in the initial management of respiratory and/or cardiovascular emergencies and cardiopulmonary arrest.  Active care-based instruction will be used to teach students to provide appropriate lifesaving interventions within the initial minutes after response until the child is transferred to an advanced life support provider. 

The goal of the PEARS Provider Course is to improve outcomes for pediatric patients by preparing healthcare providers in assessment, early recognition, prompt communication, and initial intervention in patients with respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest by using high-performance team dynamics.
